HOW TO READ THE QUR'AN FOR BEGINNERS

 


Assalamualaikum Warhomatullahi Wabarakatuh

The Quran is the holy book of Islam, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Jibril. For Muslims, reading the Quran is an obligatory act of worship. It is not only about reading it, but also practicing its teachings in daily life, which should be done simultaneously.

The purpose of the Quran's revelation is to serve as guidance for the pious, to bring glad tidings and warnings, and to provide healing for the lives of its followers.

To begin reading the Quran, we must first recognize its letters to be able to read it properly and correctly. Through the Iqro method, each letter of the Quranic reading is learned.

Iqro is a textbook used to learn the Quran. As is known, learning to read the Quran requires the right method to read it fluently. The learning process requires a teacher who uses this textbook to teach beginners.

The Iqro book contains the letters of the Quran along with the correct way to pronounce them. This book is very popular in Indonesia. The Quran learning book is a work by KH. As'ad Humam, which has been widely used from the past until now. This book is a method to make it easier for the community who wants to read the Quran with fast and correct pronunciation.

The Iqro book consists of 6 volumes. Once the first volume is mastered, it can be continued to the next volumes. While reading this learning book, it is hoped that one can actively study continuously, at least 2 pages a day, to quickly master the correct and proper way to read the Quran.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh (Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you) Back with me, Abu Musa. This time, I will present a study on the concept of sin. If we understand the points that Allah SWT (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala - Glorified and Exalted Be He) informs us about sin in the Qur'an, we will be able to avoid it. Allah has informed us about sin in several verses, which I have classified as follows: 1. FUAD : REACTION TO TWO USTADZ'S VIDEOS

Let's start with the first one from the first Ustadz: “This body moves, but what controls it is the king – the king is the Qolbu. This king commands, and above this king is another king. That is Fuad. This Fuad is what drives and decides: You do this, you do that. Qolbu changes often, it's called Qolbu because it flips and changes. Among Muslims today, millions of hadiths circulate with various classifications: sahih (authentic), hasan (good), da'if (weak), ahad (singular), and even mawdu' (fabricated). DO NOT BLAME GOD, UNDERSTANDING THE DICTION OF "KITAB" IN THE QUR'AN

Why must it be God? Many people (both Muslims and non-Muslims), when struck by disaster or misfortune, tend to blame the Creator. IS IT TRUE THAT WHEN A PERSON CONVERT TO ISLAM, ALL OF THEIR PAST SINS ARE FORGIVEN BY ALLAH?

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh To find the answer to this question, we must first understand the word “MIN” (مِن) in the Qur'an. For simplicity, let us first look at Surah Al-Baqarah 2:5: أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدٗى مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ "Those are [the ones] on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful." In this verse, the word “MIN” (مِّن) is correctly translated as "FROM" . This can be seen in the phrase “Hudan MIN rabbihim” (هُدٗى مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ) , meaning "guidance FROM their Lord." However, because a single word in the Qur'anic language can have multiple meanings—a concept known as al-mushtarak (polysemy)—the word “MIN” (مِن) can also mean "A PART OF" or "SOME OF" (partitive) . THE CONCEPT OF “YEAR” ACCORDING TO THE QUR’AN AND A RE-EXAMINATION OF THE AGE OF PROPHET NOAH

There are two different terms used in QS. Al-‘Ankabut (29:14): وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمۡ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمۡسِينَ عَامٗا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلطُّوفَانُ وَهُمۡ ظَٰلِمُونَ “And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them for a thousand years minus fifty years. Then the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.” Two different diction choices are used: Sanah ‘Ām (Ama) What is Sanah and what is ‘Ām, and why are both translated as “year”? The answer is that both are indeed translated as “year,” but the calculation of each is different. How is this possible? RUH IS NOT SOUL

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Allah subhanawata'ala says فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ “So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Ruh, then fall down to him in prostration.” (QS. Sad: 72) The verse above is information that Allah gives to humans that when a human is created and develops inside a mother's womb until complete, Allah breathes into him a part of Himself which is called the Ruh. The presence of this Ruh of Allah optimally boosts the Hearing, Sight, and Fuad, enabling humans to think, act, and judge, unlike animals. ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفِۡٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ “Then He proportioned him and breathed into him of His Ruh and He made for you the hearing and the sight and the Fuad.
